VPQHC is partnering with the Vermont Department of Health to offer free quarterly webinars for mental health providers. This webinar series has a focus on telehealth and suicide safer care. Each webinar is one hour long. Links to resources and past recordings can be found below.

CAMS Care in a Telehealth Setting

Join Kevin Crowley of CAMS Care (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality), as he discusses suicide safe care telehealth practices to protect both the patient and the provider. We will discuss strategies for responding and supporting patients when suicidal ideation is disclosed during a telehealth call, collaborative documentation and stabilization planning in a telehealth setting.

Telehealth & Professional Ethics

May 14, 2025

In this session, Dr. Frederic Reamer will focus on the use of telehealth with clients experiencing suicidal ideation, discussing best practices for creating effective response plans for missed appointments and dropped calls with high-risk clients. He will also address the importance of developing safety plans and understanding liability issues associated with telehealth.
