2025 Vermont Dialectical Behavior Therapy Institute:

An 8-day Comprehensive Training and Learning Community

Please note the deadline for filing applications is 2/21/2025.

Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.

The 2025 DBT Institute will be facilitated by five highly qualified DBT trained clinicians: Ellyn Poquette, LCSW; Danielle Seymour, LCMHC; Sue Swindell, Psychologist; Ashley Wight, LCMHC; and Rebecca White, LCMHC.

The mission of the Vermont DBT Institute is to offer Vermont providers with affordable access to comprehensive DBT training and ongoing learning needed to provide adherent DBT treatment.  The DBT Institute includes an 8-day comprehensive training and access to an ongoing DBT Learning Community.

Adherent DBT is a treatment provided by a team of DBT-trained clinicians.  Applicants are encouraged to apply with other team members planning to start a consult team or to have access to a pre-existing DBT consultation team to support their individual practice.

The tuition fee for the full 8-day training is $400 per person.  Please do not send payment until you have been accepted into the training program.

Acceptance letters will be sent as soon after the application due date as possible.  All letters will be sent by the end of February.  At that time, participants will receive a comprehensive schedule for the training as well as a detailed description of required readings and assignments.
