External peer review is a critical tool for ensuring objectivity, accountability, and continuous improvement in hospital quality and compliance.

This session will feature expert perspectives on the importance of external peer review and introduce VPQHC’s Statewide Peer Review Network, a resource designed to support Vermont hospitals with access to qualified peer reviewers when expertise may not exist internally, as well as educational opportunities and training to strengthen peer review practices statewide.
