Motivational Interviewing for Suicidal Thinking with Rachel Davis-Martin

This training reviews the evidence for using motivational interviewing to address suicidal ideation and explores suicide-related sustain talk and life-affirming change talk. Participants will learn to apply motivational interviewing techniques for conducting suicide risk assessment, navigating sustain/change talk, and providing brief interventions.
Continuing education credits pending approval for Allied Mental Health Practitioners, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, Psychoanalysts, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
