Intermediate Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) Training Using the Stanley Brown with Rachel Davis-Martin

This training builds on the skills and knowledge obtained in the Foundational Safety Planning Intervention Training Using the Stanley Brown. Here we will review frequently encountered challenges and address barriers to safety planning and enhance safety planning skills through live role plays and feedback from trainer.

Continuing education credits pending approval for Allied Mental Health Practitioners, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, Psychoanalysts, Psychologists, and Social Workers.

Must have previously taken "Foundational Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) Using the Stanley Brown" training.

Location: Remote

Who should attend? Participants in VPQHC’s Suicide Care in Healthcare 2026 QI Collaborative and healthcare or mental health professionals seeking to strengthen suicide risk assessment skills.
