Intermediate Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) Using the Stanley Brown with Rachel Davis-Martin

This virtual training builds upon the knowledge acquired in the Foundational Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) Using the Stanley Brown training. It will include a brief review of key elements of the safety plan intervention, didactics on frequently encountered challenges when collaboratively building a safety plan including strategies for navigating these challenges and proactively addressing barriers to access to common strategies listed in each step, modeling of safety planning via expert videos, discussion of complex cases drawing from the trainer’s and participants’ clinical experiences, and role playing by participants. Note, the entire role play will not all be monitored by a trainer.

3 continuing education credits approved through the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation for Allied Mental Health Practitioners, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, Psychoanalysts, Psychologists, and Social Workers.

Participants must have previously taken "Foundational Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) Using the Stanley Brown" training.
