Conversations on Access to Lethal Means (CALM Conversations) with Mark Margolis

This workshop is designed to provide friends, family, and others with information on how to recognize and respond to suicide risk, with an additional focus on reducing access to lethal means, especially firearms. The training includes practical strategies, real-life scenarios, and tools to help create safer environments for individuals who may be at risk.
2 continuing education credits approved through the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation for Allied Mental Health Practitioners, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, Psychoanalysts, Psychologists, and Social Workers.

Who should join:
This workshop is open to family members, friends, caregivers, firearm owners, educators, coaches, faith leaders, and other community members who want to learn how to support someone in crisis. No clinical background is required, just a commitment to helping reduce suicide risk and promote safety in your community.
