Counseling on Access to Letha Means (CALM Clinical) with Mark Margolis

This training builds skills to identify when lethal means counseling is needed, ask about access to firearms or other methods, and work with individuals and families to reduce risk. CALM is an evidence-based, practical tool for suicide prevention.

3.75 continuing education credits approved through the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation for Allied Mental Health Practitioners, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, Psychoanalysts, Psychologists, and Social Workers.

Who should attend: Clinical staff participating in VPQHC’s Suicide Care in Healthcare 2026 QI Collaborative and any other interested clinical professionals.
