Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) Clinical

This training builds skills to identify when lethal means counseling is needed, ask about access to firearms or other methods, and work with individuals and families to reduce risk. CALM is an evidence-based, practical tool for suicide prevention.

Who should attend: Clinical staff participating in VPQHC’s Suicide Care in Healthcare 2025 QI Collaborative and any other interested clinical professionals.
