As a Chartered Chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, our mission is to:
- Provide education opportunities for the professional development of diabetes educators.
- Promote and aid the growth and development of quality self-management diabetes education programs.
- Foster communication and cooperation among individuals and organizations involved in diabetes education and care.
- Act as an organizational vehicle for change in the healthcare system for improved diabetes care.

Future dates to remember:
The Annual VTADE Flagship meeting will be Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 8:00-4:00 at the Capital Plaza Hotel, Montpelier. This will be a collaborative event with the VT Pharmacists.
We will be looking for new leaders in VTADE for two board elected positions: President-Elect and Secretary for 2010. Ballots will be mailed in October. Please feel free to e-mail or call any of our board Officers for questions about these roles.
