As a Chartered Chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, our mission is to:

• Provide education opportunities for the professional development of diabetes educators.

• Promote and aid the growth and development of quality self-management diabetes education programs.

• Foster the communication and cooperation among individuals and organizations involved in diabetes education and care.

• Act as an organizational vehicle for change in the healthcare system for improved diabetes care.
