Combined Conference:
Hospice/ExCEL- June 2001 - Lake Morey
Tim Quill, M.D., will speak Thursday morning on non-abandonment. Dartmouth has agreed to pay half of his fee, and Tim will talk to them about covering his expenses as well. The remainder of the fee will be split between ExCEL and the Hospice Council.

Resources:
Tim announced that he received a "no" letter from the Freeman Foundation in response to the inquiry letter sent earlier this month. It was suggested both that Freeman may have been at the end of a funding cycle, and that personal contact through Dr. Reardon before the letter was sent might have brought a better response. It was agreed that nothing more could be done regarding a Freeman grant at this point. Tassi will try to identify other funders who might be interested in the project.

VPQHC:
We'll be working with VPQHC on the quality page again this year.
