Care at the End of Life End-of-life care is an issue that will affect all Vermonters during the course of their lifetime. The quality of that care affects not only the individual facing the last moments of their life, but all of the members of their support network. It is an issue that has risen to the level of legislative action during the course of the last two years, the newest legislation being Act S.281 which passed this spring. Many individuals and groups around the state are working to ensure that Vermonters experience quality end-of-life care. VPQ is proud to be working toward this goal with the support of our partners from throughout Vermont. The Vermont Collaborative on End-of-Life Care is a year-long initiative to improve care at the end of life and currently involves 11 interdisciplinary teams from across the state.
